Change in Toronto's child population between 2011 to 2016


The 2016 Census reported Toronto's population at 2,731,570 people. This is a 4.5% since the 2011 Census. While Toronto's child population (children 14 years and younger) decreased slightly over this same period, the map below shows that the decrease was not uniform across the city. Many areas experienced significant growth while the other areas experienced a decline in the number of children.
