At the program and service level, advancing equity in child and family well-being may focus on enabling access, opportunity, and full participation for all children and families. Working at the program and service level might also include developing a new program or service, modifying an offering, bringing about a change in policy, or adjusting a practice. Action at the program and service level, may include an intentional focus on equity and advancing child and family well-being through:
- strategic program planning and development;
- changes to service delivery;
- allocation of resources; and
- supporting ongoing capacity building (for example, professional development).
