Median incomes of Toronto families with children 12 years and younger

The median income in 2013 for Toronto families with young children was $52,090. This means that for half of Toronto's 229,990 families with young children, their family income is above the $52,090 and for the other half of this population their income is below $52,090.

This map shows how median income varies across different parts of the City. The census tracts with the highest median incomes are clustered in the centre of Toronto, with another large cluster in the west and a smaller cluster in the Beaches neighbourhood.

In general average family incomes tend to be higher than median family incomes.
